Third Annual Skeet Shoot

Yesterday, we went to the ward skeet shoot at a member's house on the Flint River. George came up with the idea a couple of years ago when he was in the Elder's Quorum and it's been a hit ever since. Lot's of people were in attendance. There was skeet shooting, volleyball, horse shoes, canoes and great food. There was even a clean prota-potty with rasberry-vannila soap to wash your hands with! Forrest really enjoys shooting the guns each year with Dad. When the shot gun shells run out, he goes to the volleyball court. Sadie loves the canoes and this year she had her cousins with her to canoe and skip rocks together. The weather was absolutely prerfect. It was a huge success and a family event we look forward to going to each year.

That looks and sounds like a great activity!! Reminds me of when we went to Flood lane to catch fish!

It looks like Forrest is right on his target :)
Those kind of activities sure make fun memories. (not that I've ever been skeet shooting)
